The security of your personal data is our top priority. That is why we pay special attention to personal data and its protection. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") provides information about what personal data we collect, what your right is to process it, for what purposes we use it, how long we keep it and with whom we may share it. In the Principles, we also inform about the rights of the data subject in connection with the processing of personal data.
1. What personal data do we process?
When you use the services of our online shop or stationary points of sale (i.e. points of sale and collection points), we process various types of data.
• 1.1. At the time of purchase
The data that you most often share is the data obtained through the product or service order form on our website. Usually, this data is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the sales contract.

2. Contact Information, which includes email address, mailing address, billing address, phone number, bank details, payment details.
3. Data generated in connection with the concluded contract, the specific products purchased, the value of the services provided and the customer segment.
• 1.2. After registration
If you want to take advantage of the advantages of a customer account, you need to register on our website. The customer account is protected by a password of your choice, which we do not have access to, and if you lose it, we will not be able to send it or generate a new password on demand.
As part of your account, you have unlimited access to your personal data, as well as the ability to edit it. In your personal account, you can check the history of completed orders, purchased products, and incomplete orders. Through the customer account, it can also save payment card details, manage the receipt of the newsletter and the so-called wish list, which allows you to add your favorite products.
If the customer does not want to create an account, it is possible to make a purchase without registering.
If you register on the website, we process the following data:
1. Identification data, which are name and surname, and in the case of purchase, REGON and NIP;
2. Contact Information, which includes email address, postal address, billing address, phone number, bank details, payment details;
3. Demographic data from user settings and browsing behavior, i.e. gender, date of birth, preferred language.
4. Login credentials, i.e. username and password. We don't have access to the real password.
5. Data generated in connection with the concluded contract, the specific products purchased, the value of the services provided and the customer segment.
• 1.3. Upon receipt of commercial information
You may receive commercial information from us about products similar to those purchased from us. You may opt-out of receiving this information at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email containing such information. Client account holders can also opt out of receiving commercial information through their account. Unsubscribing from commercial news is free of charge.
Registered clients can also receive commercial information via SMS or push notifications. You can also receive push notifications containing commercial information on Facebook or via Messenger. In this case, the processing of data is governed by the Personal Data Processing Policy of the respective social network. You can also opt-outof information at any time through these channels.
We process the following data of the recipients of such information:
1. Identification data, in particular your name and surname;
2. Contact details through which we can contact you, in particular your e-mail address and, if you register on the website, your telephone number;
3. Demographic information derived from user preferences and online behavior, including gender and preferred language.
• 1.4. People who visit our website or create content on it
If you visit our website, we collect various information during your visit, such as your IP address, browser and preferred language settings, as well as the web pages you visit, as well as the date and time of your visit. We also track movements on the website, i.e. clicks on links, in order to tailor the content displayed and to offer you the products and content you expect.

In order to increase user activity in the world of beauty, we may share activities on our websites, such as reviews of purchased products and descriptions of their benefits, or comments on our blog articles. You don't need to have a customer account to create such content. Records can display the user's first and last name entered in the form. You are responsible for the content and activity you post on our sites, so please do not provide personal information that you do not want to be publicly available.
Our website may contain links to other websites that we consider practical and may contain useful information. In this regard, we would like to point out that the owners and operators of such websites may be other companies and organizations that process personal data in accordance with their own Security and Data Protection Policies. We have no control over such processing and are not responsible for any information, materials, products or services contained on or available through these sites.
• 1.5. When contacting the hotline or on social networks
When contacting our customer service team by phone or email, we primarily process recorded phone calls, which are monitored, as well as records of email correspondence.
If you contact us via our website or profile on selected social networks, the processing of your personal data is carried out exclusively in accordance with the Data Processing Rules of the company that operates the social network.
• 1.6 If you have an availability notification set up
If an item is not available, we enable availability monitoring. When the product is back in stock, we will send a notification to the email address you provided, which is processed for this purpose.
• 1.7. In the event that you post a review of our company on opinion-forming portals
Upon receipt of a product, the customer may receive a request for its rating and satisfaction rating through the review portal of their choice. Every opinion is extremely important to us, but it is up to the customer to decide to leave their own rating. In the case of such an assessment, we process and transmit the following data to the respective partners:

2. Data generated in connection with the concluded contract, in particular the products purchased.
• 1.8. If you participate in a consumer contest
Through our website or profiles on selected social networks, we organize attractive competitions for customers, the full terms and conditions of which can be found on our website during the course of the competition. The announcement of the results may be public, which means that we may publish certain details about the winner on our website or profile. All actions and communications with us through social networks, as well as the processing of personal data, are subject to the Personal Data Processing Policy of the company that operates this social network.
If you participate in a competition, we process the following personal data of the participants:

2. For what purpose do we process personal data?
• 2.1. Purchase of goods and services
Most often, we process personal data for the performance of a sales contract so that we can efficiently process an order received through our website, mobile app or hotline and deliver the goods. The e-mail address and telephone number are used to send you an order confirmation, to provide you with a confirmation of receipt of payment, to send you an e-invoice, as well as to provide you with updates on the status of your order and, if necessary, to provide you with individual contact about your order.
• 2.2. Customer Account
If you are a registered customer, we process your personal data for the purpose of maintaining your customer account, where we offer you a number of benefits.
• 2.3. Promotional Offers
We send commercial information about products similar to those purchased from us. You may opt-out of receiving such communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link located in the footer of any email containing such information. 3. What are the legal bases for our processing of personal data?
We process personal data to different extents and for different purposes, as set out in Articles 1 and 2 above:

The types of processing that we may carry out without your consent depend on the specific purpose of the processing and on the position of the data subject in relation to our company – whether they are just a visitor to our website, whether they make a purchase or register with us. We also process personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest in order to improve and adapt the services provided, to determine the success of the commissioned performance and to advertise the products and services offered more effectively. This applies in particular to the data referred to in Article 1(4) and (5).
Due to our legitimate interest in direct marketing, we may also send you commercial information about products similar to those purchased in our stores. 4. Who do we share your personal data with?
In most cases, we process personal data for our own purposes as their controller, which means that we determine the above purposes of collecting personal data, the manner of their processing and their proper implementation.
We only pass on personal data to our partners if this is necessary for the performance of a sales contract, e.g. for payment or delivery; on the basis of a legitimate interest or in the case of prior consent to the transfer of data.
We also transfer personal data to our processors, who of course comply with the legal conditions for the protection of personal data. These entities process personal data in accordance with our instructions without infringing the rights of the data subject in any way. With your consent, we may also share your personal data with social networks or marketing tool operators to display targeted advertising on other websites.

- Operators of customer service contact tools or, if necessary, external call centers;
- Partners conducting customer satisfaction surveys;
- technology providers and cloud service operators;
- Legal or financial representatives, courts for the preparation of business documents, debt collection or for other purposes arising from the performance of our statutory obligations;
- To public authorities to protect our rights (e.g. the police).
If third parties use the personal data provided for their legitimate interests, we are not responsible for such processing. Such possible processing is governed solely by the company's and the data subject's Personal Data Processing Policy.
• 4.2. Transfers of data outside the EU
When transferring personal data to our processors, we may, in some cases, also transfer personal data to third countries that are not members of the European Union and do not provide an adequate level of protection for personal data. However, such a transfer of data on our part will only take place if our data processor undertakes to comply with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which are available here.
5. How long do we process your personal data and how is it protected?
• 5.1. Period of processing
We process personal data primarily for the duration of our contract, in this case the sales contract. We are obliged to process such personal data as is necessary for the performance of our obligations, regardless of whether these obligations arise from a contract or from generally applicable laws, for the period specified in or in accordance with these laws. For example, in the case of accounting documents issued by us as the controller, we are obliged to store the data for at least 10 years from the date of issue.
We process personal data primarily for the duration of our contract, i.e. the sales contract. In addition, we process personal data also for the period necessary to enable us to properly perform all our obligations under the concluded contract and generally applicable laws. For example, in the case of accounting documents issued by us, we are obliged to store the data for at least 10 years.
In order to process your enquiries and provide you with the highest quality of customer service, we process your personal data from the moment of entering into the contractual relationship and for a period of 1 year after the end of the warranty period for the product you have purchased, in order to resolve any disputes you may have.
If a data subject contacts us through our customer service team, we retain the personal data associated with such contact for a period of 2 years, including recordings of tracked conversations.
If you have consented to the sending of commercial information, this consent is valid for 4 years or until it is withdrawn. If you agree to be notified of the availability of a product, this consent will be valid until the availability notice is sent, for a maximum of 1 year or until it is withdrawn. Consent given by submitting a product review is valid for 6 years or until it is withdrawn. In the case of creating content within the articles of our blog, the consent given by sending a comment to such an article is valid for 2 years or until it is withdrawn. If you take part in our user tests or other events and you consent to the processing of your data, we will process your personal data for a period of 1 year or until you withdraw your consent, including any bodycam or other audiovisual recordings.
If you take part in a competition organized by us, we process your personal data for a period of 1 year. If you visit our point of sale or other premises of our company and its surroundings, we process the recordings from the cameras within 90 days from the date of recording.
In other cases, the period of processing of personal data results from the purpose of the processing or is determined by the applicable laws on the protection of personal data. After the expiry of the specified processing periods, the personal data will be automatically deleted.
• 5.2. Security
The personal data collected and processed is already encrypted and we use the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption system to transmit it. This system ensures the security of your data during communication between your browser and our server. We protect our website and other systems we use with appropriate technical and organizational measures against the loss and destruction of personal data and unauthorized access, alteration or modification of personal data.
We are constantly improving these security measures and also require our processors to demonstrate the compliance of their systems with the GDPR.
In the case of customer registration, access to the customer account is only possible after entering the selected password. We don't have access to your password because we store it in encrypted form that neither you nor we can decipher.
Please do not share your access data with third parties. Once you have completed your customer account, we recommend that you log out of your account, especially if your device is shared with other users. We are not responsible for the misuse of your password unless it is directly caused by our actions.

The data subject has the right to request free information about the processing of his or her personal data – what data we process, for what purpose and for what period, where we receive the personal data from and to whom we transfer it. As part of your right of access, you can also request the transfer of the processed data in a structured, machine-readable format. Once your identity has been verified, we will generate a copy, just send your request to the email address of the Data Protection Commissioner (hereinafter referred to as the "Supervisor") pr@bibliotheque-de-parfum.com.
• 7.2. Right to rectification
If it is found that the personal data processed is incorrect or incomplete, the data subject has the right to request that it be rectified. We will correct or supplement the data without undue delay. In some cases, you may exercise your right to erasure of the personal data being processed. We will promptly delete or anonymize your personal data.
