I Am Collection
The essence is always inside! That’s the motto we can claim for our new collection of niche perfumery that is symbolically named “I Am…” Who are you? A woman? A girl? Are you shy or provocative? Do you love or hate now? Are you an angel or a demon? All these features can be essential for one woman. Our duo of designers-perfumers Larysa Nekrasova and Fernanda Rousseau know this and they were inspired by the changing and aerial nature of each female when they decided to create the new collection for the Bibliotheque de Parfum.
The Backstory of I Am Collection
The new collection of fragrances by Larysa Nekrasova was planned long before 2022. It resulted in two years of hard work on the idea, olfactory, and design of new perfumes. The first concept Larysa shared with her staff was the creation of 8 different fragrances that should embody the 8 states of a woman. Each one of these fragrances will be chick and deluxe, each was intended to have its color and exclusive packaging referred to the best samples of haute-couture perfumery. Yet the war changed everything.
Two years ago Larysa started her collaboration with a prestigious female perfumer, MA, professor, and inspired Italian woman Fernanda Rousseau. While Larysa generated ideas and concepts of olfactory composition for new fragrances Fernanda Rousseau implemented them in charming scents that were the basis of the new Bibliotheque de Parfum collection. At that time, the name for this collection was 8 States of a Woman and it was inspired by Larysa’s lifestyle training program for women. It happened that on the 23rd of February the new collection should be delivered to Larysa to Kharkiv. However nothing of that kind. Perfumes’ delivery was delayed and a day after the whole of Ukraine was on fire.
This turned everything upside down. Larysa Nekrasova and her employees were forced to become refugees. But the collection was already created and it stayed safe in Italy! So Larysa decided to give it one more chance in a quite rethought form.
I Am… Idea and Fragrances
The new concept was devoted to the inner transformations each woman experiences day by day. One day she is calm while another brings a waterfall of emotions. She could be different and she doesn’t care what should everyone think about these different aspects of her personality.
The same features Larysa and Fernanda gave to the collection “I Am…”. These fragrances have different aromatic compositions and their mood is also different.
There are 8 basic perfumes in the collection:
- I Am Free – clear, citron perfume with the shades of spices and ripe fruits.
- I Am Loved – the fragrance with manifested flower scent accompanied with white wine shades.
- I Am Daring – Fougere aroma with Aldehyde shades and salted aftertaste.
- I Am Worthy – a wooden fragrance with soft and warm shades of cinnamon and chocolate.
- I Am a Dreamer – Chipre aroma with a rich composition that includes lots of shades in one scent.
- I Am Tender – sweet and tasty aroma that embodies the most lovely sweets and treats in its composition.
- I Am Sensual – complex and even aphrodisiacal fragrance that unites the most sophisticated shades of black vanilla, cream, ginger, and nuts.
- I Am a Winner – a bit tough but very seductive aroma with suede intonations and oriental shades.
Each of them can be a real gem in your olfactory collection yet we offer to try all of them and get the most from this collection of niche perfumery.
Each perfume also refers to the native land of Larysa Nekrasova, Ukraine. The idea of the rethought collection is to show the fragrance as-is. That is why designers chose laconic vials and refused the idea to color each fragrance. This should add synthetic components to the composition that was controversial to the concept. Besides, designers created very special packaging for vials – each of them is hidden in a hemp-linen pouch that is created according to ancient Ukrainian traditions of weaving and symbolize the strength and flexibility Ukrainians are famous for. In this pouch, your perfume will be protected from heat and cold, sunlight, and raindrops.
